Jewish Comedian Surges in Ukraine's Presidential Race
(AP-Ynet News) Vladimir Zelenskiy, 41, has been a comedian in Ukraine for more than 20 years. Since 2015 he has starred in the Ukrainian TV series "Servant of the People," playing the president - a high school teacher abruptly propelled into the presidency after a student's video of him blasting official corruption goes viral. He is now leading in the polls in the run-up to the March 31 Ukrainian presidential election.
