Pompeo Denounces Hizbullah in Lebanon
(New York Times) Hwaida Saad and Edward Wong - In tense meetings in Beirut on Friday, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo pressed leaders of Lebanon to curb the growing power of Hizbullah. "Lebanon and the Lebanese people face a choice: bravely move forward as an independent and proud nation or allow the dark ambitions of Iran and Hizbullah to dictate your future," he said while standing next to Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, an ally of Hizbullah.
