U.S. Mideast Envoy: "We Can't Make a Deal Unless the Two Sides Want to Make a Deal"
(World Jewish Congress) U.S. special envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt told the World Jewish Congress' governing board in Ottawa, Canada, on Wednesday: "We knew the challenges of reaching a peace agreement are extraordinary....We hope for a comprehensive agreement, and if that can't be achieved, then positive steps forward that would be helpful for both Palestinians and Israelis in the region would be helpful as well....We can't make a deal unless the two sides want to make a deal."
