Percentage of Israelis with College Degrees Soars
(Jerusalem Post) Diana Bletter - In addition to Israel's well-established universities, there are more than 60 colleges offering more than 300 academic courses. Since 1975, the percentage of Israelis with college degrees has soared. According to an OECD study, Israel has the third-most college graduates per capita in the world. Almost half of Israel's adult population now has a bachelor's degree. Tuition in publicly-funded institutions is about $2,800 per year, while tuition at private colleges could run three times higher.
