U.S. to Sideline Arab League UN Initiative
[Jerusalem Post] Nathan Guttman - In discussions among Israeli and U.S. officials over the past few days, it was agreed that the U.S. will use its diplomatic power to sideline an Arab League initiative which intends to use the UN Security Council as the main vehicle for convening an international peace conference to deal with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
