Iranian Judo Champion Who Defied Tehran Now in Hiding
(AP) James Ellingworth - Saeid Mollaei, the defending world champion, has been in hiding in Germany since he left the Iranian judo team last month. Mollaei told AP he was ordered to lose a bout against Russia to prevent a future competition against Israel. When he refused and won, he received intimidating calls from senior officials.
