Russia Sets Up New Air Base in Former U.S. Syria Stronghold

(Moscow Times-Russia) The Russian military has announced a new combat helicopter and air defense base outside Qamishli, the administrative center of the Kurdish autonomy in northern Syria, TASS reported Thursday.
