In Iran, False Belief that Drinking Methanol Fights Coronavirus Kills Hundreds

(AP-New York Times) Iranian media reports nearly 300 people have been killed and more than 1,000 sickened so far after ingesting methanol - industrial alcohol - in the mistaken belief that it protects against the coronavirus.
