Italian Court Declares: "Jerusalem Is Not the Capital of Israel"
(Middle East Monitor-UK) On August 5, the Rome Court ruled in favor of two Italian pro-Palestinian organizations against Italian national public broadcasting company RAI, which had said Jerusalem was the capital of Israel. On May 21, a TV game show contestant was asked about the capital of Israel. The answer "Tel Aviv" was deemed wrong and the contestant was told the answer was "Jerusalem." Judge Cecilia Pratesi ruled that "The Italian State does not recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital."
