Jonathan Pollard Arrives in Israel
(Jerusalem Post) Gil Hoffman - Jonathan Pollard and his wife Esther arrived in Israel on Tuesday, 35 years after he was arrested for passing classified information to an ally. Pollard, a former civilian intelligence analyst for the U.S. Navy, was arrested in 1985 and served 30 years of a life sentence before he was paroled. He is the only American in U.S. history to receive a life sentence for spying for an ally, and the only one to serve more than 10 years in prison for the crime.
