Hamas Behind Rocket Fire from Gaza
(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel - On Friday night and Saturday, 38 rockets and mortar shells were fired from Gaza at Israeli border communities in the most serious assault in a year and a half. Seven rockets were intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome antimissile system, while some fell on the Palestinian side of the fence. Israel responded with airstrikes and tank fire on Hamas targets. Hamas spokesmen linked the rocket fire to Arab riots in Jerusalem.
