Anti-Semitism in Austrian Universities
[Institute for Global Jewish Affairs] Ruth Contreras - Anti-Israelism and anti-Semitism are not mainstream at Austrian universities, yet a number of extreme left and extreme right organizations are active on campus and individual academics promote anti-Israel positions. This is in line with similar phenomena in Austrian society and politics, as well as with the false self-perception of many Austrians that their country was the first victim of the National Socialists.
