Partnership between America and Israel Deepens as Cyber Threats Proliferate
(JNS) Yaakov Lappin - Cooperation between the U.S. and Israel in the cyber arena is growing more intense, said Lt.-Col. O., a senior officer at the IDF Joint Cyber Defense Division. The cooperation is quiet, in the shadows and is highly significant to the defense establishments of both countries. In recent months, both the U.S. and Israel have experienced unprecedented cyberattacks, including ransomware attacks on the Colonial Pipeline company, an American oil pipeline that originates in Houston, and on Israel's Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera.
