IDF Sees Major Increase in Female Soldiers
(Jerusalem Post) The number of female soldiers in the IDF rose by 170% in the past seven years. The number of female soldiers serving in clerical positions has fallen by 50% in the past two years. 46 women held the rank of colonel in 2021, compared to 39 in 2020. In the last draft year, women made up 40% of all recruits who entered technological units.
