The Condemnation of Terror by Mansour Abbas: Is It Real?
(Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs) Lt.-Col. (ret.) Jonathan D. Halevi - Member of Knesset Mansour Abbas, who serves as chairman of the United Arab List (Ra'am party) and deputy head of the Southern Branch of the Islamic Movement, voiced condemnations of the recent terror attacks in Israel. At the same time, his condemnations were not posted on the official Facebook pages of Ra'am or the Southern Branch of the Islamic Movement. Some see Mansour Abbas' condemnations of terror as reflecting a moderate and courageous line, while others view them as no more than a propaganda exercise.
