Israeli Strike in Syria Targeted "Game Changing" Iranian Air Defenses
(Times of Israel) In an airstrike Saturday near the Syrian port city of Tartus, Israel targeted Iranian attempts to bring "game-changing" air defense systems into the country, Israel's Channel 12 reported. The strike targeted "a weapon transported by sea, possibly using Iranian ships that docked at the port." The report said Iran's Revolutionary Guards were seeking to operate their own air defense systems in Syria.
