2,300 Jordanians Are Working in Eilat
(Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Beginning August 1, 2022, up to 2,000 Jordanian hotel workers and up to 300 Jordanian workers in construction, industry and general sectors, will once again be allowed to enter the Eilat region of Israel for work on a daily basis, as was the case before the corona pandemic. Oded Joseph, Deputy Director General for the Middle East at the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the move "symbolizes warmer relations with our neighbors on the other side of the border. We are happy for this cooperation and hope to expand it in the future."
