Oman Opens Airspace to Israeli Airlines

(Ha'aretz) Jonathan Lis - Israeli airlines will be allowed to fly over Omani airspace. Israel's Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said the "historic" decision "will shorten flight time to Asia, make flights cheaper for Israeli citizens." Last summer, Saudi Arabia officially allowed Israeli airlines to fly through its airspace, but the lack of approval by Oman has forced Israeli flights to continue to bypass the Arabian Peninsula.
