20 Percent of Jordan's Water Comes from Israel
(JNS) Ayoob Kara - Today, 60-80% of Israel's drinking water is provided by desalination plants. Israel is pumping desalinated water into the Sea of Galilee from five different plants. Israel supplies Jordan with 100 million cubic meters of water from the Sea of Galilee, which fulfills 20% of Jordan's water needs. The writer served as Israel's minister of communications.
