Beyond the incredible accuracy, the system can track and hit from a range of 200 meters, compared to 50 meters with a rifle with a normal sight, which adds to the safety of the shooter. "Before the Gaza war, the SMASH was also used to take down the incendiary balloons that set Israeli fields surrounding Gaza on fire." The U.S. Marines, the British army, and those of the Netherlands, India and Germany have purchased Smart Shooter.
