Lebanese Journalist: Shiites of South Lebanon Will Welcome Israeli Forces that Rid Them of Hizbullah
(MEMRI-TV) Lebanese journalist Tony Abi Najem told LBC TV (Lebanon) on June 3, 2024, that Israeli forces would be welcomed in Lebanon if there were an Israeli military operation against Hizbullah. He recalled that the Shiites threw rice on the Israeli forces after they got rid of the Fatah presence in South Lebanon in 1982.
