IDF Soldier Murdered in Shopping Mall, Wounded Companion Kills Attacker
(Ynet News) Nir Cohen - Sgt. Aleksandr Iakiminskyi, 19, was murdered in a terrorist stabbing attack at a shopping mall in the northern city of Karmiel on Wednesday. Sgt. Natan Shimon Avny, who was stabbed three times in the chest and shoulder, eliminated the terrorist. Surveillance footage shows Jawad Rabia, 20, an Arab Israeli citizen from a nearby town, sneaking up on the two soldiers from behind and lunging at them with a knife.
