Iranian Proxies Attack U.S. Base in Iraq for First Time in Months

(Military Times) Noah Robertson - An Iran-backed militant group attacked a U.S. base in Iraq Tuesday in the first such attack since April, the Pentagon confirmed Thursday. Two armed drones flew toward Al-Asad Airbase in western Iraq. American forces shot one down, and the other one hit the base with "minimal damage."
