Ashkelon Targeted by Rocket Fire from Gaza
(Times of Israel) Emanuel Fabian - For the first time in a month, the Israeli city of Ashkelon was targeted Friday by rocket fire from Gaza in an attack claimed by Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Of the three rockets fired, one was shot down by the Iron Dome air defense system, while the other two struck open areas.
