Canada Revokes Charitable Status from Jewish National Fund, Founded in 1901

(JTA) Asaf Elia-Shalev - Canada's tax authority on Sunday revoked the charitable status of the Jewish National Fund, founded in 1901 to reestablish a homeland in Israel for Jewish people everywhere. JNF has filed suit against the Canada Revenue Agency to overturn the decision.
