Two Car Bomb Attacks in Gush Etzion, Four Israelis Wounded
(Ha'aretz) Yaniv Kubovich - Four Israelis were wounded Friday night in two separate car bomb attacks in Gush Etzion in Judea, south of Jerusalem. A car bomb exploded and caught fire at the gas station at Gush Etzion junction. The driver then exited the vehicle and tried to attack soldiers, and was shot dead by IDF troops. Three Israeli soldiers were wounded. In a separate incident, a Palestinian man drove into the Israeli community of Karmei Tzur with an explosive device in his vehicle. The local security officer rammed his vehicle into the assailant's and then shot him dead. The explosive device went off when the two vehicles collided, wounding the officer.
