Palestinians Imprisoned by PA after Preventing Terrorist Attacks Against Israel Must Be Compensated by PA, Israeli Court Rules
(Jerusalem Post) Bini Ashkenazi - The Jerusalem District Court has ruled that the Palestinian Authority must pay compensation of NIS 3 million to three Palestinians who helped prevent the murder of Israelis, Israeli media reported Monday. The three were imprisoned by the PA after they cooperated with Israel and were abused while in prison. Israel's High Court of Justice ruled in 2021 that Israeli courts can discuss the question of compensation for Palestinian collaborators who prevented terrorist attacks against Israel.
