5 IDF Soldiers Killed in Firefight in Southern Lebanon
(Ynet News) Yoav Zitun - Five Golani Brigade Reconnaissance Unit soldiers were killed on Wednesday during an intense firefight in a southern Lebanese village near the Israeli border, the IDF reported on Thursday. The troops were searching a multi-storey building when four Hizbullah terrorists who had concealed themselves opened fire at close range. The troops returned fire, killing the terrorists. Five additional soldiers were wounded, three seriously.
