(Reuters) James Mackenzie - Israeli jets have conducted more than 350 strikes on strategic weapons stockpiles in Syria to prevent them being used by rebel groups, the IDF said Tuesday. Lt.-Col. Nadav Shoshani denied that Israeli forces had penetrated Syrian territory significantly beyond the buffer zone. "IDF forces are not advancing towards Damascus," he said.
