Israel Strikes Back at Houthis
(Ynet News) Yoav Zitun - Israel responded to weeks of Houthi missile and drone attacks with its third strike in Yemen early Thursday. The Israeli strikes, carried out 2,000 km. from Israel, disabled three seaports, Yemen media said. In the Yemen capital of Sanaa, which came under Israeli attack for the first time, planes targeted fuel storage areas and a power station. IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari said the strikes aimed to degrade Houthi military capabilities and prevent the use of the targeted facilities for military operations, including the smuggling of Iranian weapons.
