Indian Workers Slowly Replacing Palestinians in Israeli Construction Industry

(AFP) Tens of thousands of Palestinian construction workers have been barred from entering Israel since Hamas's Oct. 7, 2023, attack. Indian construction workers are part of Israel's effort to fill the void. Some workers can make three times what they would back home. 16,000 workers have come from India over the past year - and Israel has plans to bring thousands more.
