Israel Raided an Iranian Missile Facility in Syria in September
(Jerusalem Post) Israel conducted a commando raid on an underground Iranian missile production facility near the city of Maysaf in Syria in September, Israel's Channel 11 revealed on Sunday. The raid targeted the Syrian defense industry's Scientific Studies and Research Center, and an underground missile production facility run by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Iran had transferred components for a precision missile project into the facility and the operation against it was deemed urgent to prevent the facility from reaching full production capacity. Israel had informed the U.S. about the operation in advance.
