Poll: 77 Percent of Americans Support Israel over Hamas
(Center for American Political Studies-Harvard University) 77% of Americans support Israel over Hamas, including 85% of Republicans, 76% of Independents, and 69% of Democrats, according to a Harvard-Harris poll conducted on Feb. 19-20, 2025. 79% believe Hamas must release all remaining hostages without any conditions or face serious consequences, while another 78% say Hamas should not be allowed to govern Gaza. 76% say Iran's nuclear facilities should be destroyed, and 57% think the U.S. should support Israel in airstrikes to destroy Iran's nuclear weapons facilities.
