Chemical and Biological Air Filters Required on Shelters in New Israeli Homes
[Jerusalem Post] Yaakov Katz - Worried about a non-conventional attack against Israel, Defense Minister Ehud Barak has approved a new plan under which all "secure rooms" (shelters) built after 2009 will need to be fitted with chemical and biological filters. Defense officials noted that the filters wouldn't completely eliminate the need for gas masks, which would still be needed by people when they left their homes.
