IDF Advances in Gaza, Expands Buffer Zone
(Times of Israel) Emanuel Fabian - Since the Israel Defense Forces resumed its offensive against Hamas in Gaza it has captured the Morag Corridor between Rafah and Khan Yunis; vastly expanded its buffer zone along the Gaza border; carried out over 1,000 airstrikes on Hamas targets, eliminating more than 40 senior officials and mid-level commanders; and located several new tunnels. At the same time, Hamas operatives are rarely engaging Israeli troops on the ground.
