Historic Renovation Work Begins at the "Little" Western Wall
(Israel National News) Renovation work began on Monday morning at the Little Western Wall (HaKotel HaKatan) in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City, following personal approval from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Little Western Wall, located north of the Western Wall plaza next to the Iron Gate, is a site of historical and religious significance, and the need for its restoration has been raised for many years but was repeatedly postponed due to security and political complexities.
