Hungary, Serbia, and the Czech Republic Came to Israel's Aid after Oct. 7
(Jerusalem Post) Zvika Klein - A senior Israeli defense official told me last week that "Israel's greatest allies imposed an arms embargo on Israel" after Oct. 7, 2023. "Apart from the Americans, no one would supply us with equipment for offensive operations, or even sell us the parts to produce it ourselves, except Hungary, Serbia, and the Czech Republic." Serbian weapons and ammunition exports reached 42.3 million euros in 2024, up from 1.4 million in 2023. Most of those shipments were 155 mm artillery shells.
