IDF Issues Evacuation Notice for All of Gaza City
(Ha'aretz-Ynet News) Bar Peleg - IDF Arabic-language spokesman Lt.-Col. Avichay Adraee posted an order on Tuesday for all residents of Gaza City and all its neighborhoods - "from the Old City and Tuffah in the east to the sea in the west" - to immediately evacuate toward the humanitarian zone in Muwasi. The order was accompanied by leaflets in Arabic dropped from aircraft and SMS messages to residents' phones. "The IDF is determined to defeat Hamas and will operate in the Gaza City area with great force.... Remaining in the area is extremely dangerous." He listed a phone number to report Hamas roadblocks or attempts made by Hamas to prevent the evacuation of residents to the IDF.
