Video: Freed Hostage Alon Ohel Plays Piano on Israel TV
(JTA) Grace Gilson - Alon Ohel, a pianist, was abducted from the Nova music festival during the Hamas attack of Oct. 7, 2023, and taken to Gaza, where he was held captive for over two years until the recent ceasefire agreement. He took the stage on Wednesday on a top Israeli comedy show and played the piano as the cast sang together with members of his family. An eyepatch covered his right eye, following an injury after he was taken hostage.
