White House: U.S. Committed to Maintain Israel's Qualitative Edge after Saudi F-35 Sale
(Jerusalem Post) A senior White House official told Israel's Channel 12 on Wednesday that the administration would be holding talks with Israel to ensure that the sale of F-35s to Saudi Arabia can go through while still upholding the 2008 U.S. law to ensure IDF superiority in the region. "The Trump administration is committed to the law that stipulates the United States will maintain the IDF's qualitative edge in the Middle East. We will not breach it," the official said.
