Islamists Target Jews at Bondi Beach
(Telegraph-UK) Editorial - Terrorist gunmen inspired by fundamentalist Islam fired indiscriminately at party-goers celebrating Hanukkah at Bondi Beach, killing at least 15 and injuring dozens more, including children. Why were these people targeted? The likely explanation from the Islamists is that this was a response to the events in Gaza that followed the pogrom in Israel which left more than 1,000 dead and hundreds kidnapped. However, these were not Israelis. They were mostly Australians, but they were also Jews. That is why they were singled out.
