Top Hamas Official: We Never Said We Would Surrender Our Weapons
(MEMRI-TV) Mousa Abu Marzouk, a member of Hamas's political bureau, told Al-Jazeera on Jan. 28, 2026: "At no given moment have we talked about surrendering our weapons, or about any formula connected to [weapons] destruction, disarmament, or anything like that....They could not do it for two years [of war], and now they are trying to achieve it through negotiations?"
