Iranians Say They're Exchanging Messages with U.S. to Avert Attacks on Energy Infrastructure
(New York Times) Luke Broadwater - President Trump said on Monday that the U.S. and Iran were negotiating a "total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East." According to four Iranian officials and an Iranian diplomat, Tehran and Washington have been exchanging messages through intermediaries aiming to avert attacks on critical energy infrastructure. Three officials said Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, and U.S. presidential advisor Steve Witkoff had spoken on the phone in recent days.
