Israel Will Not Be Bound by Iran Deal, but Will Have to Coordinate with U.S.
(Israel Hayom) Danny Zaken - A senior diplomatic source told Israel Hayom that if a deal is reached to end the war with Iran, Israel would be able to defend itself against threats, but its conduct must be coordinated with the U.S. The source said Trump promised Netanyahu that the nuclear issue would be resolved in the most complete manner; otherwise there would be no deal. Trump said all the reasons that led the two countries to go to war would be addressed, including the issue of missiles and support for regional terrorist organizations. According to the source, the issue of Lebanon remains open, with the understanding that the rules of the most recent ceasefire agreement remain in force, under which Israel is permitted to strike whenever an emerging threat against it arises.
