MoU Provides a Lifeline for Iranian Proxies
(Institute for the Study of War) Iran will likely use renewed economic access under the MoU signed with the U.S. to reconstitute members of the Axis of Resistance, particularly Hizbullah. Iran has told Hizbullah that it will increase funding as soon as possible once the U.S. unfreezes Iranian assets. The degree to which Axis of Resistance factions remain contained or weakened is in large part contingent on how much funding Iran can provide to them.
