Elbit Systems Secures $370 Million in U.S. Customs and Border Protection Deals
(Jerusalem Post) Udi Etzion - Elbit Systems of America has been awarded contracts by U.S. Customs and Border Protection worth a combined total of more than $370 million. Elbit manufactures a range of sensors and border surveillance systems. Through previous contracts, Elbit is already responsible for securing sections of the U.S.-Mexico border. The company has deployed and operates dozens of electronic surveillance towers, radar systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles in Arizona that provide real-time surveillance data to the U.S. Border Patrol.
