Israel Rejects Gaza Plan that Would Leave Hamas in Power
(GB News-UK) Dr. Dan Diker - Dr. Dan Diker, President of the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs (JCFA), said the proposed 15-point Gaza plan is "a complete distortion of the original 20-point plan" agreed upon by Israel and the U.S. He warned that the new framework would "allow Hamas to remain in power and to store its weapons in storehouses, which it will have the keys to," effectively preserving Hamas as both a governing and terrorist force in Gaza. He described the proposal as "another pathway to the next massacre" and rejected the assumption that Hamas can remain part of Gaza's political system. Diker said any viable postwar arrangement must ensure Gaza is demilitarized and deradicalized. "There is no tolerance for Hamas at all, not as a government and not as a terror organization," he said.
