British Musician Describes Attacks for Openly Supporting Jews
(X) Boy George - In the last few months, my life has changed beyond all compare. I made a decision to support my Jewish friends and without hesitation. I feel anxious almost everywhere I go but I do not regret my decision. I have seen friends that I have helped and supported turn on me without a conversation. Many of these anti-Israel people have zero political instincts. They only care because it has become fashionable to care. In life there are people who see what's going on and others who just blindly follow the trends. I support anyone calling for peace. That is what we should all be doing. How can Israel be an apartheid state when Arabs and Christians live there peacefully and are part of the political system? The writer, George Alan O'Dowd, is a British musician, songwriter and lead singer of the pop band Culture Club.
