IDF Kills Hamas Brigade Commander in Gaza City Airstrike
(Times of Israel) Emanuel Fabian - The commander of Hamas's Northern Gaza Brigade, Izz al-Din al-Bik, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City, Israel said Tuesday. An airstrike in Gaza City on Sunday killed Hamas operative Shadi Abu Hasira, who headed a money exchange network which "transferred tens of millions of Israeli shekels in foreign currency to Hamas's military. These funds were used to finance terrorists, restore military infrastructure, and advance attacks against IDF troops," the IDF said.
